Hey guys, don't mind me. I'm doing some practice warm-ups for writing, since I've been designing more characters, and importance and what not. XD

He stared at her, and as cold and hollow he appeared, a smile formed on his lips. Njord walked into the room, made of it's glistening stone. He heard the crashing of waves on the coast, the smell of the sea stung his nose. He stared at his wife, his life partner, as she laid on the soft bed, her hair tangled, her body showing it's obvious exhaustion, but a smile was on her beautiful, worn, face. Skadi looked up with her incredible stormy gray eyes, and a smile even larger than before, spread across her full lips. Her long, white hair was dampened with sweat, and her brow, also covered in sweat, uncreased as Njord's boots clacked against the stone floor. Her tanned skin seemed a bit pale, from the troubles she had just collided with.
"You look tired..." Njord said, as he sat down on the bed next to her, and his hand moved up to stroke her cheek. Skadi, a strong, brilliant woman, just smiled again. She was the true leader of the Sea Of Wolves, and as much as his pack said that he was alpha, he wouldn't of made it this far without his beautiful wife next to him.
"Well..." She began and looked down at the small bundle in her arms. Wrapped in a sea-green blanket, was a scrunched face, pale like his mother's original skin, with eyes still shut. Njord chuckled heartily, rubbing Skadi's arm carefully.
"He's beautiful," Njord said ",Strong, handsome...He'll make for a good leader one day." He said, boasting about his son, quietly, but enough to raise pride in Skadi and himself. The woman nodded.
"That he will be." She said, still very tired from giving birth. Njord pressed his lips to her damp forehead, and smiled widely. Skadi chuckled.
"Have you thought of a name, my dear?" Njord said. In his family, it was always the woman's right to name the child. At least the first born son. If it had been a daughter, or a second child, he had the right. But this was all Skadi's work, her six months of pregnancy, only because a true-bound werewolf only carried a young for six months, unlike a human, who carried a child for nine. Skadi chuckled, soft, light as a feather, her stormy eyes traveled over the angry little face.
"Tyr. Like my brother." She said, patting a mop of blonde hair on the child's head. Njord, who became slightly irritated that her brother's name was born onto his baby's, gave her a look.
"Why?" He asked, careful not to get rash, or irritable around her. Skadi would box him on the ear if she so desired. Sure, the alpha male was menacing, but the alpha female was terrifying.
"Tyr died doing what he cared for the most, Njord." Lucky for him, Skadi's eyes where on her child. Njord's brow knitted together as he thought of the rebellious wolf that he called her brother. A nasty tempered werewolf, several years older than Skadi, who died in war against Shinratsu, the Father of Destruction. No matter how many times both him and Skadi had warned Tyr, The Mad, not to insist on war against one of the most powerful werewolves, he did anyway.
"He's a bastard, a fool for thinking peace can last that long. And I'll be the one to end his life." Tyr had said. Njord had warned him, told him, that Shinratsu was one of the strongest males, that no one could beat him, and Tyr had just laughed in his face. Not even the wise words from Skadi had changed the young brute's mind. And into war he went, thinking Shinratsu would falter, and fail. Instead, it was Tyr who met a gruesome end. Njord noticed Skadi's eyes where on him now, and he blinked, giving her a weak smile. Skadi's irritation and distrust spread over her face.
"You don't like it." She said, not in a voice that made him feel bad, but one that made his heart hurt and his stomach knot.
"Your brother was foolish..." He said, a little guilty of his feelings. Skadi blinked her eyes, but a smile formed.
"He was, you're right. But maybe,...our son can change the name for the rest of us. For all we know, he can change the future." Skadi said, patting Njord's arm, and at that, Njord knew she was right. He stared down at his son, whose eyes remained closed, and kissed his forehead carefully.
"You will do great, Tyr..." He said.
